Jack Gilbert of Gringo Jack’s was re-elected president of the Vermont Specialty Food Association at its annual meeting June 9. Whitney Lamy of Castleton Crackers was elected vice president and Bob Christoffel was re-elected secretary-treasurer.
Newly elected board members were Calley Hastings of Fat Toad Farm and Michael Adams of Pack Commercial Kitchen.
The elections took place at the organization’s annual education forum and meeting at the Mountain Top Inn, Chittenden, VT. Over 100 members and guests attended the event, which included 10 different sessions to help specialty food members learn more about food trends and ways to manage their business.
The Vermont Specialty Food Association is a statewide organization representing over 130 food producers and 30 suppliers to the industry. It is one of the nation’s premier statewide associations for the specialty food trade, celebrating 32 years of service to the industry.
