Rebecca Fetterman joins Copper Leaf Financial

Rebecca Fetterman has joined Copper Leaf Financial (CLF) as a Client Services Associate. Rebecca is a graduate of Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. She has over 10 years of customer service experience, eight within the finance industry.

Rebecca will provide extensive support to Copper Leaf’s clients and work closely with the financial planning team to provide operational and administrative assistance.

UCS appoints Heidi French as director of community relations & development

United Counseling Service (UCS) has announced the appointment of Heidi French as Director of Community Relations & Development. In addition to overseeing fundraising and development, Heidi will be responsible for increasing community awareness about UCS and the impact the organization has on the residents and businesses in the area.

“We’re excited to welcome Heidi to our team and look forward to her work on behalf of UCS in the Bennington community. Her diverse experience will be a valuable asset to our organization,” said Executive Director Ralph Provenza.

College of St Joseph announces staff promotions

College of St. Joseph has announced the promotions of Judy Frazier to Vice President for Human Resources and James Lambert to Associate Vice President for Marketing and External Affairs.

Frazier previously served as Associate Vice President of External Affairs, starting work at the college in 2012. As Vice President for Human Resources, she will focus her attention on enhancing employee engagement and performance reviews, a well as human resources policies and employee relations. She is also the Title IX coordinator at CSJ.

Vermont Army National Guard officer receives General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award

The Vermont National Guard announced that CPT Austin F. Barber, Vermont Army National Guard received the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award.

The General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award recognizes company grade officers and warrant officers who demonstrate the ideals for which General MacArthur stood: duty, honor, and country and promotes and sustains effective junior officer leadership in the army.

Ledyard National Bank announces the promotion of William E Kidder, Jr

Ledyard National Bank has announced that William E. Kidder Jr., has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Senior Lending Officer. This promotion marks Bill’s inclusion onto the Bank’s eight person Senior Management Team as well as taking on the additional responsibilities of overseeing the credit and administrative divisions of the lending department.

Chittenden County Opioid Alliance Project director hired

The Chittenden County Opioid Alliance (CCOA) announced that it has hired Cathy Aikman as project director. CCOA is a new collaborative partnership with local non-profit agencies, state and local government, UVM Medical Center, business leaders and community members in Chittenden County dedicated to reducing the opioid crisis and the burden it brings to our community.

UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center Auxiliary awards scholarships

The University of Vermont Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center Auxiliary has awarded 11 scholarships of $2,500 each to students living in the central Vermont area who are pursuing a career in health care. The $27,500 for scholarships was raised by sales at two auxiliary-run shops, the Bene-Fit Shop in Barre and the gift shop at the hospital.

Scholarships for $2,500 each were awarded to:

· Erica Blodgett, Corinth, Chelsea & Vermont Academy of Science & Technology, Applied Exercise Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy, University of New England

Jordan Duffy joins VHB

VHB has announced that Jordan Duffy, will join its South Burlington, VT office as a Civil Site Designer. Jordan will support the office’s Land Development and Environmental Services teams with site/civil and stormwater design projects as well as permitting. Jordan recently graduated from the University of Vermont with his MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
