United Counseling Service (UCS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dawn Danner to Director of Developmental Services. Developmental Services provides Community and social support, employment services and residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Dawn is replacing the previous Director, Kathy Hamilton who recently retired after 37 years with UCS. “We’re pleased that Dawn has been able to step up and take the reins. She will provide consistency and the active leadership that we need during this period of change in our industry,” said Executive Director Ralph Provenza.
Dawn has been a case manager with United Counseling Service since 2014. Prior to coming to UCS Dawn worked in Special Education. “I am honored to be able to serve as DS director and I’m excited to see what the future holds,” said Dawn.
Dawn works out of the Developmental Services office located at 335 Dewey Street in Bennington.
UCS serves children, adults, families, and seniors through nationally recognized counseling, early care and education, and clinical support.
