Three Rutland Regional Medical Center nurses honored with the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses

Compassionate care runs deep in the Edgerton family as Karen and Steve Edgerton, along with their future daughter-in-law, Kathleen Tredtin, were honored recently for going above and beyond in caring for a woman who became ill while shopping. The Edgertons and Tredtin were honored at a ceremony at Rutland Regional Medical Center and given The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, a peer-elected awards program of the DAISY Foundation. The award recognizes the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

Inntopia welcomes new additions to its team, opens new office

Julianna Fedrizzi has recently joined the Partner Services team at Inntopia as a Strategic Account Manager. A recent graduate of the University of Vermont, she brings a background in hospitality and customer service culled from several years of front-line experience at a busy bed and breakfast. Originally from Taos, NM, Julianna moved all across the US. In high school, she spent a year in Poland as a Rotary International Exchange student and in college, she studied abroad in Oaxaca, Mexico. We are thrilled to welcome Julianna to the team!

Legal Services Corporation honors Vermont attorneys, law firm for pro bono service

The Legal Services Corporation (LSC) Board of Directors presented Pro Bono Service Awards to the law office of Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC and three Vermont attorneys in recognition of their extraordinary commitment to equal justice.

The LSC Pro Bono Service Award Reception take was held recently at the Burlington Hilton at 70 Battery Street. The awards ceremony was in conjunction with the LSC Board of Directors’ third quarterly meeting of the year.
