Graduates of Oncology Data Management Program strengthen Vermont workforce and economy

On Thursday, March 30, nThrive, an independent Patient-to-Payment solutions company, and Vermont HITEC, a not-for-profit education center, celebrate the graduation and official on-boarding of nine Oncology Data Management (ODM) Specialists, who recently completed an intensive pre-apprenticeship education program. While the students have been employed by nThrive since the program began in October 2016, graduation marks the start of their one-year apprenticeship and continued mentoring with the company.

HANDS Board Members

HANDS (Helping and Nurturing Diverse Seniors) is pleased to announce that Jon Crystal has joined the Board as Treasurer. Jon has worked in the non-profit sector for most of his career, having served as Budget Director at Castletown State, Assistant Vice President at UVM, and Executive Director of the Vermont Employee Ownership Center. He has also been an adjunct faculty member of UVM and Saint Michael's College, and served on numerous non-profit boards. Other board members include President Holly Cluse and Vice President & Secretary Carla Bond.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Burlington recognized for outstanding achievement

Homewood Suites by Hilton, Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) industry-first All Suites portfolio, recently recognized John Cammarano at Homewood Suites by Hilton Burlington as the General Manager of the Year, and Homewood Suites Burlington as the Connie Pride Merit Award winner for their outstanding achievements during the past year at the brand awards that were held in Las Vegas. The property, which is owned and managed by Larkin Hospitality, received this award distinction from among the brand’s more than 400 hotels throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Hagan Associates team is growing

Hagan Associates is excited to announce its recent hire of Paul Detzer, who has joined the team as an Account Coordinator. Within the role, Detzer will assist with client projects to ensure timelines and scopes are met. “With this new position, I’m excited to expand my knowledge of marketing,” said Detzer. “I have a chance to bring a fresh, different perspective to the team and I look forward to learning from them, as well.”

PT360 expands with a Clinical Outreach Athletic Trainer

PT360 has a new employee at their employee-owned physical therapy cooperative with 17 owners. Meghan Yandow, ACT, is a Certified Athletic Trainer who graduated from the University of Vermont in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Since graduation, she has spent time working with collegiate athletes at St. Michael’s College, high school athletes at Rice Memorial High School and co-treating patients at a local chiropractic clinic. Meghan is also the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the VT Bucks, for which PT360 is providing Rehabilitation Services.

Rich Gardner, co-owner of RE/MAX North Professionals, has been presented with the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors highly successful agents who have reached a certain number of sales. Gardner has been working in the real estate industry for more than 12 years and has extensive experience in residential real estate. Among Gardner’s list of achievements, he has earned the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, 2016 Diamond Club Award as both an individual and team, 2015 Diamond Club Award, 101 Chairman’s Club Award, 2010 NVBR Good Neighbor Award.
