Ian Davis to become Vermont's Chief Marketing Official for Captive Insurance

Michael Schirling, Vermont’s Secretary of the Agency of Commerce & Community Development has announced that Ian Davis, 30, of South Burlington will replace Dan Towle as the next Director of Financial Services. The position is responsible for the marketing and business development for the State of Vermont’s Captive Insurance Industry. “This industry has continued to be an important contributor to our economy,” said Vermont Governor Phil Scott. “I have no doubt that Ian will continue the long standing tradition of representing Vermont as the ‘Gold Standard’ in this area.”

Saint Michael's student-athletes shine spotlight on mental health, earn national recognition

Two Saint Michael's College students have been chosen as 'college hockey's finest citizens' for their work spotlighting mental health awareness, especially among student athletes. Danny Divis and Justin McKenzie were named the recipients of the 22nd annual Hockey Humanitarian Award, presented by BNY Mellon Wealth Management, on Friday evening during a ceremony at the men's NCAA Division I Frozen Four in Chicago.
