Colonel Matthew T Birmingham, Director of the Vermont State Police, is pleased to announce that effective August 8th, 2017, Detective Sergeant Julie Scribner with the Vermont State Police Office of Professional Development in Pittsford is promoted to Lieutenant, Commander of the Office of Internal Affairs. Lieutenant Scribner has served the people of Vermont for nearly 17 years, graduating from the Vermont Police Academy in early 2001.
