Paw Print & Mail expands with new employee

Paw Print & Mail, a local printing and direct mail fulfillment company, has welcomed a new employee at their office in South Burlington. Sarah Haselton joined the Paw Print & Mail team as Sales & Marketing Specialist. This new position was created to assist in the writing, production and maintenance of the company’s content marketing platforms that include: blogging, social media, email marketing, and the website. Sarah also directs Paw Print’s promotional products and copywriting services for their clients.

Dr Lewis First receives 2017 Distinguished Citizen Award

The Green Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America awarded Dr Lewis R First its 2017 Distinguished Citizen of the Year award at a banquet held recently at Trader Duke’s hotel (formerly the Doubletree) in South Burlington. Dr First’s contributions to Vermont and the children of the state were well documented and recognized by a number of friends and colleagues in attendance including Tom Messner weather anchor from MyNBC TV, who served as emcee for the event.

Burlington coffee shop receives Dining for All Award

The Vermont Center for Independent Living recognized a Burlington cafe on Oct 13 for its commitment to accessibility. Speeder & Earl’s co-owner Jessica Workman received the Rosemary J Miller Dining for All Award. The award is named for VCIL’s longtime receptionist, who retired in 2011 after over 30 years on the job. Miller, who was born with cerebral palsy, has been and continues to be a steadfast advocate for disability rights.

Seventeen Downs Rachlin Martin attorneys named to New England Super Lawyers lists

Thirteen Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC attorneys have been named to the 2017 New England Super Lawyers list and four DRM attorneys have been named to the Rising Stars list according to the publisher of the list. The selections were announced on Oct. 17. Attorneys named to the Rising Stars list are David F Harlow of the Brattleboro office, and Kathryn M Foley, Samantha Lednicky and Jennifer McDonald of the Burlington Office. Harlow was named for employment litigation. Foley was cited for intellectual property work.
