Today, Lisa Ventriss, President of Vermont Business Roundtable (Roundtable) announced the recipient of the Roundtable’s 2017 New Medallion Award, which recognizes exceptional school leadership and progress toward the state’s goals of equity, access, and quality of proficiency-based learning experiences for all Vermont students.

Fab-Tech Inc, based in Colchester, Vermont, recently promoted Mike Baranski to Director of Marketing & Sales. “Mike will have Fab-Tech’s outside sales team and inside sales operations team reporting to him and will be responsible for growing Fab-Tech’s coated duct business,” said Scott Fine, President of Fab-Tech. “I am excited about the potential growth and continual improvement of Fab-Tech’s sales team under Mike’s leadership.”

The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association will recognize Deb Loughlin with the Crystal Heart Award at the Vermont Go Red For Women Luncheon on Feb 1, 2018 in South Burlington, VT. The Crystal Heart Award celebrates the success and commitment of a local woman who has served as an advocate, a volunteer and a role model in improving the health of women in her community.

Attorney Peter D Van Oot is leaving the law firm where he has practiced for more than 30 years to join a new venture with Dr Robert Simpson, the former chief executive officer of the Brattleboro Retreat. The new business, called The Difference Leadership Group, counsels for-profit and non-profit leaders in governance and leadership.
