O’Rourke named Human Resources VP at Saint Michael’s

Saint Michael’s College has hired an alumna as its Vice President of Human Resources. Eileen O’Rourke will start in August, Saint Michael’s President Jack Neuhauser announced this week. The president said O’Rourke is “an accomplished administrator with over 30 years of experience in Human Resources.” Since 2007, she has been the Executive Director of Human Resources at The Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington, which serves the 14 counties of Vermont and employs 1,200 people.

Wilder joins the Healthy Dollars team

Healthy Dollars (HD), a growing third party administrator for customized health reimbursement and flexible spending accounts, is excited to announce it’s newest team member. Katie Wilder joins the Healthy Dollars team with an extensive background in data analysis and claims administration. Katie has 5 years of prior healthcare administration experience and is excited to get back into this field after working in the online retail and marketing industry for several years. Her previous experience will help Healthy Dollars streamline many processes to work towards continued growth.

Mercy Connections honors Byers at annual May luncheon

Mercy Connections thanks the more than 500 community members who attended the annual May Luncheon at the DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington Vermont. The room was full of generous sponsors and supporters. Each year the Board of Directors selects a person who exemplifies mercy values and the example of Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy. This year, the board honored Sara Byers, President and Co-owner of Leonardo’s Pizza, with the Catherine McAuley award for living and modeling the values of mercy and lifelong service to others.

Sterling College appoints new vice president/chief operating officer

After an exhaustive and competitive national search, Sterling College has appointed Peter Merrill, of Morrisville, co-founder and owner of Elmore Mountain Farm, LLC to be its first Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. This is a new role for the College and comes at a time of enrollment and philanthropic success over the past six years that has set the stage for a new leadership structure.

TruexCullins announces staff promotions
