Flore appointed CEO of Grafton Village Cheese
Liz Bankowski, President and CEO of The Windham Foundation, announced today that Ruth Flore has been appointed CEO of the Grafton Village Cheese Company, a subsidiary of The Windham Foundation, effective August 20, 2018. Presently Flore manages marketing and business development of several partner brands for Norseland Inc - the sales and marketing agent for Jarlsberg and other specialty cheeses. She has over two decades of experience in the industry including early in her career with Vermont Creamery.
Business Roundtable welcomes new members
At its 31st Summer Membership Meeting held at Sugarbush Resort, the Vermont Business Roundtable elected five new members to the organization including: Dan Bennett, CEO of Gifford Health Care; Phelan Fretz, Executive Director of ECHO Leahy Center; Sarah Morris, Fifth Generation Host at Basin Harbor Resort & Boat Club; Premila Peters, President and CEO of Data Innovations; and Dawn Terrill, President of Jani-Tech.
Pierce of Rutland joins Vermont Futures Project Board of Directors

One Credit Union awards $3,000 in scholarships
Brett Smith, President and CEO of One Credit Union, announced the winners of the 2018 Scholarship Awards. To qualify applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better, demonstrate financial need, and be eligible for membership at One Credit Union, as well as submit a 300 word essay explaining their experience with teamwork and community building.
