Berkshire Hills appoints Levante Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility Officer

Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc (NYSE: BHLB) announced that Gary Levante has been appointed Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Officer, a newly created position within the Berkshire Bank Foundation. In this role, Levante will work to expand the Foundation's community engagement efforts to implement an all-encompassing CSR strategy. In doing so, Levante will lead Berkshire's efforts to integrate corporate social responsibility into all of the Company's and Foundation's activities, supporting key objectives, such as strengthening communities and engaging employees.

Stern Center welcomes Dr White to staff

The Stern Center for Language and Learning welcomed Jennifer White, PhD, to its staff as Learning Innovation Specialist July 1, 2018. Jennifer completed her Doctorate degree in Special Education in May from the University of Arizona with a minor in School Psychology. She has a Master of Arts in Reading and Learning Disabilities and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Gallagher has joined DEW Construction as Director of Business Development

Gallagher has been active in the construction management and real estate industry throughout New England for over 25 years. Most recently, Gallagher was Director of Business Development with Sullivan Construction out of Bedford, NH. Prior to that he, was with Dacon Corporation, a large design/build firm based in Natick, MA, where he served as Director of Business Development for ten years

Nathan presents SMART research at Cleveland Clinic’s annual conference

Jane Nathan, PhD, Clinical Psychologist and Research Director at the Stern Center for Language and Learning, recently earned certification in the Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) program, which teaches self-care practices that help buffer daily stress, making participants less emotionally and physically vulnerable to it.
