Col Matthew T Birmingham, director of the Vermont State Police, is pleased to announce Detective Sgt David White, with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations – Troop B East, has been promoted to lieutenant/station commander at the Middlesex Field Station.

Attorney Jeremy Carter of Milton has joined the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC where he will practice in the Business Law Group and work from the firm’s Burlington office. His work will include representation of early stage companies and investors making investments in early stage companies, along with general corporate representation and work on mergers and business acquisitions.
