Rutland Regional welcomes new pulmonologist

Rutland Regional is pleased to welcome Darius Seidler, MD to the Rutland Pulmonary Center. His clinical expertise includes COPD, Thoracic Oncology and Asthma. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonology. Dr Seidler received his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med and Respiratory Care from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, and Medical Degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada.

Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce announces 2018 Leadership Award recipients

The Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2018 Hanover Area Leadership Awards. The Leadership Awards are presented each year to local individuals and businesses that demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of life in the Upper Valley through their leadership, innovative business practices and support of community organizations. Award recipients were nominated and voted on by three hundred business members of the Chamber.

ReArch Company hires Tucker as foreman

We are pleased to welcome Jackson Tucker to the ReArch Company team as our new foreman! Tucker has been hired to help support our operations and field staff. As a Foreman, Jackson will be responsible for providing a diverse array of on-site support. He will take a lead role in job site safety and assist with documentation. He will work closely with the job site Superintendent to complete a variety of tasks from paperwork, to overseeing small teams on a daily basis. Jackson will be working closely with our subcontractors and helping to assist them with safety compliance and time management.

VCGN is pleased to introduce three new directors

The Vermont Community Garden Network welcomes the following new Board of Directors members, who joined the organization’s leadership team on September 12, 2018:

* Jonathan Roddy, Branch Manager at Community Bank NA, South Burlington, Vermont - “I believe everyone has the right, and should have the knowledge, to grow their own food. I believe that children should grow up learning how to nurture plants and when to harvest; children should grow up to be self-sufficient as much as they can without having to rely strictly on what they can buy at the grocery store.”

UVM Health Network Porter Medical Center elects new slate of board officers

The UVM Health Network Porter Medical Center Board of Directors elected a new slate of officers at its monthly meeting in September. Elected to the position of board Chairman was Sivan Cotel, the Co-Founder and Director of Operations for Stonecutter Spirits. A craft spirits veteran focused on growing startups into businesses, Sivan was previously the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of WhistlePig Whiskey.
