Lund is delighted to announce that Karisa Thompson, Adoption Finalization Coordinator, has been named an Angel in Adoption® by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI). Shoreham resident, Karisa’s nomination was supported by the office of Vermont Congressman Peter Welch. The award is a recognition of Karisa’s outstanding work as an advocate for establishing permanency for children in Vermont.

The Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) Foundation Northshire Regional Advisory Board welcomes Chris Ams. Chris Ams moved to Vermont from Fairfield, CT, in June of 2000, after purchasing a mortgage company in the area. After 25 years in the mortgage industry, he took a position as the executive director of Riley Rink at Hunter Park, where he worked for the next 2 years. He then purchased a property management business, which he ran for 3 years before joining his brother and nephew as an account executive at Finn and Stone Insurance in Manchester.

Corina Rose joins Gifford Behavioral Health team
Psychotherapist Corina Rose, MA, LCMHC, has joined the Behavioral Health team at Gifford Health Care, providing counseling at Gifford’s Randolph and Berlin locations. Rose helps adult and teenage clients work through a variety of issues, from mood disorders such as depression to relationship challenges with couples. A trauma-informed therapist, she describes her style as “eclectic,” having been “trained in many different modalities that help people heal their pain, whether it is mental, emotional, or physical.”
