Courtney Bishop, CPA has joined Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs. Courtney has fifteen years of experience in public accounting and most recently worked for a firm in Manchester where she specialized in assisting individuals and a variety of business entities with their tax planning, compliance, and business consulting needs. Courtney also has extensive experience providing bookkeeping and accounting services for medical centers.

Courtney will be operating from the firm’s Rutland location and servicing the firm’s clients throughout Vermont. She currently resides in Wells.

The Board of The Housing Foundation, Inc (HFI) has appointed Jonathan Bond as its new Executive Director, effective November 29, 2018. Mr Bond succeeds Tim Palmer.

The Stern Center for Language and Learning Board of Directors elected their officers for Fiscal Year 2019, and Bud Meyers, PhD, is the organization’s Board Chair. Dr. Meyers formerly served as Director of the James M Jeffords Center at the University of Vermont, where he also led the Department of Education. Dr Meyers also served as Deputy Commissioner of Education for the State of Vermont, where he directed the development of the New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP).
