Seven Days hires Lamdin to cover Burlington
Award-winning journalist Courtney Lamdin is joining the Seven Days news team as a reporter covering the city of Burlington. The native Vermonter has been working at local newspapers since she graduated with a B.A. in journalism from Saint Michael’s College in 2009. She grew a cub reporting gig at the Milton Independent into a six-year stint as editor of the community weekly, then served as executive editor of that publication, plus the Colchester Sun and the Essex Reporter, for three more years.
University of Vermont Medical Center has several staff announcements
The University of Vermont Medical Center is pleased to announce that Kristen Olsen Campbell has accepted a full-time position as an Audiologist at the Audiology Center at the Fanny Allen Campus. She comes to us from New Jersey. She graduated from Montclair State University with her ScD and received her Bachelor’s degree from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland. She was voted one of New Jersey’s Favorite Kids’ Docs in NJ Family Magazine for 2014, 2015 and 2016!

Hutchison joins NVRH as director of development
Emily Hutchison, MEd, recently joined Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) as the health system’s new director of development. Hutchison, who brings more than three decades of non-profit leadership and fundraising experience to the role, is responsible for supporting the health system’s philanthropic mission and strategic needs through fundraising efforts.
“We are incredibly grateful to have Emily on our team. She brings great energy, significant development experience and a commitment to NVRH’s mission-driven work,” NVRH CEO Shawn Tester said.
New trustees appointed to UVM Board
Four public trustees have been appointed to the UVM Board of Trustees. The board also added a new student trustee. Three legislative trustees were elected to six year terms by the Vermont General Assembly.
VYCC hires new programmatic leadership
The Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) is excited to announce the hiring of key new leadership roles. Susie Walsh Daloz, VYCC’s new Food and Farm Program Director. Manock receives James M Roche Spirit of Volunteerism Award
Congratulations to Jerrold Manock of Burlington who has been selected to receive the James M Roche Spirit of Volunteerism Award! This honor is the highest award given by Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) to a State Committee volunteer.
