The University of Vermont Medical Center is pleased to announce that Devin Lumbra is joining the Rehab Therapy Center team as a Medical Assistant.  She will begin on Monday April 1st. Devin is coming to us from the Radiation Oncology Clinic where she currently works as a scheduling specialist.  She has been an EMT for several years and has completed her LNA certification.  Her patient care skills and ability to work in unpredictable environments will be an asset in helping to care for the patients at the Rehab Therapy Center. Please join me in welcoming Devin to Rehab Therapy Center team.

The University of Vermont Medical Center is pleased to announce that Terri Longo has officially joined the Rehabilitation Therapy team as an Operations Support Specialist (OSS).  Terri comes to us with over 11 years of experience at the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC).  She began her career at UVMMC as a Registration Representative, but has worked for the last seven and a half years as a Practice Service Specialist (PSS) at South Burlington Family Practice (SBFP).  Her recent responsibilities have mirrored those of our own TSS staff, including; check-in, check-out, scheduling, working referrals, covering phones, obtaining prior authorizations and editing master schedules.  Terri was part of the Transforming Primary Care Initiative where she worked on a team to standardize PSS practices across primary care sites for easier cross-site coverage.  Terri has also been instrumental in training staff at SBFP and showed great initiative by suggesting and implementing new procedures to streamline processes for prior authorizations. Terri has received accolades for her strong commitment to high quality customer service, her reliability and her willingness to help others.
