VAL Rutland appoints VT YouthWorks and SWFI coordinators

As part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen and increase participation in the Department of Labor/ Vermont Technical College’s Strengthening Working Families Initiative (SWFI), and its own VT YouthWorks program in Rutland County, Vermont Adult Learning (VAL) has appointed dedicated coordinators for both programs. Chrispin White will lead coordination efforts for VT YouthWorks and Whitney Lamy for SWFI.

Norwich advisory board member selected to the Top 100 Females Fighting Cybercrime in the US

Kathleen Moriarty, Master of Science in Information Security & Assurance (MSISA) Advisory Board member within the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies (CGCS) at Norwich University, was selected from a field of 1,000 cybersecurity professionals to the prestigious “Women Know Cyber” book for educators and professionals, which is distributed to cybersecurity industries nationwide.

Burlington charity announces new additions to board of directors

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington is pleased to announce the addition of four new members on their Board of Directors. Members are invited to join the board based on committee and staff recommendations; individual’s who are involved in the community, those who have a desire to help children and families and can use their skills to help amplify the RMHC mission.
