Burlington charity announces new additions to board of directors

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington is pleased to announce the addition of four new members on their Board of Directors. Members are invited to join the board based on committee and staff recommendations; individual’s who are involved in the community, those who have a desire to help children and families and can use their skills to help amplify the RMHC mission.

Most recently, Michael Feitelberg accepted a seat. Feitelberg was the runner-up of the annual Charity Wait-a-Thon at Waterworks this past Spring, raising over $5,500 in a single night in tip money for RMHC Burlington. “Mike’s energy will be a wonderful addition to our current Board of Directors,” shares RMHC Executive Director, Kristine Bickford. Feitelberg is the President of The Edge and has always encouraged his staff to prepare dinners for the guests at RMH.

In May 2019, the RMHC Board of Directors met before summer break and added three new members: Tina Lindberg, Mandi Harris and Sherry Barton. These three women, all from different backgrounds, came to join the board because of their belief in the mission and their desire to serve. Lindberg is the owner and Corp Officer at Mansfield Heliflight. Her commitment to support RMHC stretches back several years, her personal contributions, attendance at events and background made her a perfect addition to the team. Lindberg will head up the planning committee for the 2nd annual Queen City Ball, taking place this December in Burlington.

Mandi Harris who is currently the Senior Site Director at Burlington Kids brings her connection to the local school district and her background working with children which will be a valuable perspective on the Board.

Lastly, Sherry Barton is the newly appointed liaison with the First Congregational Church of Burlington. Sherry has been a long time volunteer at RMHC and member of the Congregation.
