In June of this year Caledonia Spirits Barr Hill Distillery in Montpelier cut the ribbon on their brand new $10 million craft spirits distillery, restaurant and bar destination. Now that they’ve expanded production 10x of their gin, vodka and other specialty spirits it’s time to expand distribution of their Vermont made spirits.

The distillery has just announced the hiring of Joel Elmer as their new Vice President of Sales. Elmer comes to this craft spirits maker with 20 years experience in executive sales roles at Brown-Forman, one of the largest spirits companies in the U.S.

The 251 Club of Vermont is proud to announce Stephanie Young as its new Executive Director, effective January 1, 2020. Young is a 2005 Vermont Law School graduate. She spent eight years in Washington, DC in environmental policy with the Marine Conservation Biology Institute and the Partnership Project. Young noted, “While my family and I enjoyed our time in the Washington, D.C. area, our intent was always to return to live permanently in Vermont, and in 2013 we moved back.“
