New York Trout Unlimited honors UVM's Marsden with Professional Achievement Award
The New York Council of Trout Unlimited, a national non-profit that conserves, protects and restores North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds, has given UVM professor Ellen Marsden its 2019 Professional Achievement Award. The group honored Marsden, a wildlife and fisheries biologist in UVM’s Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources, for her decades-long work studying trout populations in Lake Champlain and sea lampreys, their natural predators.

Rehabilitation Therapy at The University of Vermont Medical Center is pleased to announce that Diann Bean will be joining the rehabilitation therapy team at the Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Center (ORC) on 12/30/2019 as a Therapy Support Specialist. Diann has an impressive track record of customer service through her 32 years of service to Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC); including managing a busy reception desk, answering phones, scheduling and collecting payments. Her previous work experience also includes nine years as an LPN at Fanny Allen Hospital.
Pepin promoted to Credit Administration Officer
Community National Bank President Kathy Austin is pleased to announce the promotion of Amanda Pepin to Credit Administration Officer. Amanda joined the bank’s Credit Administration Department in 2008 as a Credit Analyst and, in 2015, she was promoted to Senior Credit Analyst. Amanda has continued her education by taking classes through the Center for Financial Training and Education Alliance and she has taken several financial statement analysis and risk management courses through the Risk Management Association. In 2013, she attended the Northern New England School of Banking.
