Emily Hecker has announced her candidacy for State Representative for Chittenden-10. She will be one of two Democrats on Milton voters’ ballots August 11. Hecker currently serves as a Milton Town School District School Board Trustee and works for the Winooski School District as Communications and Development Director. She has also worked for a local substance abuse prevention organization. If elected, Hecker would be the first woman to represent Milton since the mid-1990s.
