North Star Leasing, a national equipment leasing company, is pleased to announce the addition of Wilbur Hooks in the role of Senior Business Development Program Manager.

Hooks bring more than 30 years of experience to North Star Leasing, having worked with a number of significant lenders in the equipment financing industry, including General Electric, Case New Holland Capital, AT&T, and Key Equipment Finance. Most recently, Hooks was the Business Development Program Manager for Marlin Leasing.

Edmund Booth appointed to Vermont Adult Learning’s board of trustees

Edmund Booth has been appointed to Vermont Adult Learning’s board of trustees. Edmund is a Network Analyst at Vermont Student Assistance Corporation. He brings over 15 years of board and committee experience in Vermont and New England. He has formerly taught in both public and technical schools in Vermont. He holds an undergraduate teacher’s degree from Keene State University and is a graduate of the Vermont Leadership Institute of the Snelling Center for Government.

Grace Cottage Family Health welcomes Cynthia Howes, Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, who began seeing pediatric patients (babies through age 21) at Grace Cottage in mid-August. Howes most recently was employed at Just So Pediatrics in Brattleboro.

Howes earned her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree at State Univ. of New York-Syracuse, and her RN degree from New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Boston.
