Vermont Tech hires Hulce for VT-MC
Barry Hulce has been hired to the Vermont Technical College staff as the Executive Director for the Vermont Manufacturing Collaborative (VT-MC), hosted by Vermont Tech on the Randolph Center campus. Hulce, a South Burlington resident, comes to the college with 25 years experience in the manufacturing industry, including the areas of Industry 4.0, advanced manufacturing, technology innovation and product development. Hulce has founded a manufacturing company, lead operations, managed engineering departments, and been a practicing engineer over the course of his diverse career.

Captive Review, a leading London-based trade publication for the captive insurance industry, has released their annual “Power 50” and “Ones to Watch” selections. These polls recognize the most influential individuals in the global captive insurance industry. A record fourteen captive insurance professionals with ties to Vermont were recognized.

SVMC ExpressCare welcomes Jannen
Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) is pleased to welcome Family Nurse Practitioner Sophie Jannen to SVMC ExpressCare and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Physicians. Jannen earned her master’s degree in nursing from Simmons University in Massachusetts in 2020. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from Northeastern University. In addition, she holds a bachelor’s in psychology from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and an associate’s degree from Berkshire Community College. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
