CCV proudly recognizes members of its outstanding faculty with the annual Teaching Excellence Awards. Faculty are nominated by students, staff, and faculty colleagues, and this year more than 60 instructors received nominations. Recipients are selected by Academic Council, which includes faculty, staff, and student representatives. This year, CCV is pleased to honor Melanie Meyer, Allison Dean, and Telemachus (Telly) Halkias.

The Joy of Teaching

Bennington College President Laura Walker has announced that Dr. Li-Chen Chin has been appointed Dean of Student Life at the College. Dr. Chin, who will assume the new position on October 11, comes to Bennington from Duke University, where she serves as Assistant Vice President for Intercultural Programs.

ReArch Company is pleased to announce the arrival of J.T. Imming as a Project Manager and Nicole Benton as an Assistant Project Manager.

As a Project Manager J.T. is responsible for managing projects on time, within budget, and in adherence with all project documents. He works closely with the Project Superintendent, Owner, Design Team, and Subcontractors to ensure a shared understanding of project goals is achieved throughout the construction process.
