Old Spokes Home of Burlington welcomes Jon Copans as executive director
Old Spokes Home in Burlington, a bike shop and nonprofit that promotes the benefits of biking, has hired Jon Copans as the organization’s new executive director. He succeeds Laura Jacoby, who oversaw the organization’s start as a nonprofit and served as executive director for five years before stepping down to spend time with family.

VCRD taps Kim Rupe for development and communications associate post
Kim Rupe, former communications and community engagement director at the Chamber and Economic Development of the Rutland Region, has joined the nonpartisan Vermont Council on Rural Development as its first development and communications associate. In her new role, Rupe will be charged with promoting VCRD programming and successes, highlighting the work and stories of local leaders in rural communities across the state and helping lead fundraising efforts to sustain and grow the organization's programs and impact.
