Jeff Gendron, former senior portfolio manager at The Colony Group, has joined Ledyard Financial Advisors as senior vice president, senior portfolio manager and investment strategist. In his new role, Gendron is responsible for investing client portfolios, conducting research and providing client service.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont welcomed Caroline Foster of South Burlington, director of product management at Publicis Sapient, and TJ Whalen of Charlotte, general partner and managing director at FreshTracks Capital, to the board of directors of the state's only local nonprofit health plan.

Pamela Duchene, chief nursing officer and vice president for patient care services at Southwestern Vermont Health Care, was named March winner of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. The nomination was received from a patient Duchene cared for during the COVID pandemic.

“It is a huge surprise. I feel very humbled,” Duchene said. “It is an honor to be recognized as one of the clinical nurses here.”

Jason Jagemann, PhD, associate professor of political science at Norwich University, has been awarded the Silver Patrick Henry Award by the Military Order of World Wars for his significant contribution to the cause of patriotism during MOWW’s New England Youth Leadership conferences at Norwich from 2019 to 2022.
