Alexia Federhen of Bennington, a 25-year-old graduate of Cornell University, was crowned Miss Vermont 2022 on April 24 at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph. At a separate competition that day, Abigail Hunter, a 17-year-old high school senior from Poultney, was crowned Miss Vermont's Outstanding Teen.

Andrea Giles has joined the Carter Insurance Agency in Bristol as senior account executive. She brings with her more than 20 years' experience and extensive industry knowledge.
