Brittany Melvin, former director of sales and marketing at Burlington Country Club, has joined the Williston financial advisory firm SilverLake Wealth Management as vice president of client services and public relations.

“As SilverLake continues to grow, Brittany will play an integral role in the process of showing the community how we are different and how we can add value to our clients through our team approach,” said Jeff Steele, SilverLake’s managing partner.

Treasurer-elect Mike Pieciak has selected Gavin Boyles of Montpelier to serve as deputy state treasurer when Pieciak takes office in January. Boyles most recently worked as general counsel at the Department of Financial Regulation overseeing all legal functions at the department and a team of nine legal professionals.

Independent real estate brokerage Polli Properties in Williston recently welcomed Nina Mazuzan of Burlington as its newest agent. She joins the real estate team headed by Elise Polli, which ranks consistently among the top 3% of Vermont agents.

Prior to becoming a realtor, Mazuzan spent several years in a variety of educational settings. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and serves on the board of two nonprofits, the Cancer Patient Support Foundation and the Vermont Italian Cultural Association.
