David N McGinn, currently Interim Head of School at Thetford (Vt.) Academy, has been selected as St Johnsbury Academy’s new Athletic Director, SJA Headmaster Tom Lovett announced this week. McGinn will replace current Academy Athletic Director Tom Conte, who will retire at the end of this school year after serving in the post since 1995.

Saint Michael’s College associate professor of physics, Dr. Alain Brizard, learned this month that he will be the recipient of a grant from the Department of Energy for $33,000 each of the next three years to support his research.
