Burke Mountain Resort, LLC, the owners of Burke Mountain Resort in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, announced the appointment of Mr. Ary Quiros, 36, of East Burke, Vermont as President and CEO of Burke Mountain Resort, LLC.

Joe Tymecki, chief technology officer for Vermont Public Television, has been elected chair of the PBS Enterprise Technology Advisory Committee. The group represents the diverse interests of the 350 PBS member stations in development and management of broadcast and information technologies. Vermont Public Television is a member station of PBS.

Vermont Information Technology Leaders (VITL) has announced the appointment of Michael L. Gagnon, CPHIMS to chief technology officer.

The Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC) has announced that Joachim Mueller MD, on staff at CVMC’s Central Vermont Cardiology practice, passed their certification examination in November/December 2012. Dr. Mueller is now entitled to designate himself as “Diplomate of the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.”

The Community College of Vermont will hold its 46th commencement ceremonies at Norwich University’s Shapiro Field House on June 1, 2013. The College is pleased to announce that radio personality and author Tom Bodett will deliver the commencement address.

Keiths II has transformed the former Armory building into a state of the art manufacturing and retail space while maintaining the historic aspects of the building.
