The North Central Vermont Recovery Center (NCVRC) is pleased to announce that they have appointed Tess Milner as their Marketing & Communications Coordinator. She will oversee strategic communications including the NCVRC’s social media, website design, newsletters, and press releases for the organization as well as other marketing opportunities.

Norwich University’s Design+Build Collaborative earned a design excellence Merit Award from the American Institute of Architects, New England chapter for a project to design and build NEST, an outdoor classroom/playhouse as part of playground renovations at Montpelier’s Union Elementary School.

Their entry was one of 163 from across the region.

Jim Brown, President of The Bank of Bennington, announced the promotion of Scott Dikeman to Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending. Dikeman, who joined the bank in 2018, will take over for retiring Senior Vice President David Bardin. David has enjoyed a storied banking career in Southern Vermont, where his name is synonymous with business banking itself.

The Board of Directors of Union Mutual Insurance Company voted unanimously last week to elect Lisa L Keysar to the role of President and CEO. Keysar is the fifteenth person to assume the role and the first woman to head the Company since its founding in 1874. Keysar succeeds Michael Nobles who passed away this summer.

The Vermont State Dental Society (VSDS) is pleased to announce that Dr. Rebekah Lucier Pryles, President-Elect of the VT State Dental Society, received national recognition this week as an ADA 10 under 10 (ten professionals nationally who demonstrate excellence in the first ten years of their careers).
