North Central Vermont Recovery Center hires marketing & communications coordinator

The North Central Vermont Recovery Center (NCVRC) is pleased to announce that they have appointed Tess Milner as their Marketing & Communications Coordinator. She will oversee strategic communications including the NCVRC’s social media, website design, newsletters, and press releases for the organization as well as other marketing opportunities.

Tess Milner is the Executive Director of the Lamoille Chamber of Commerce, and also works as an Advocate for the Clarina Howard Nichols Center. She is actively involved in the community, including serving on the Board of Directors for several regional organizations.

Milner’s experience in marketing, website design, and advertising, along with her passion for serving the community makes her the perfect candidate for this position.

“Tess is a proven communicator, someone who has quickly earned a reputation for productivity, driving growth, and building partnerships. The recovery center serves thousands of Lamoille Valley residents and has a great deal of positive growth happening in its programs and services, and Tess will help us share who we are and what we are doing with the community in a more robust and timely way,” says Daniel Franklin, NCVRC’s Executive Director.

“I am overjoyed to work with the North Central Vermont Recovery Center, even though I am not in recovery myself. I have seen many people in my life go through the struggles of substance misuse. In our region, it's an epidemic that needs to continue to be addressed. I have genuine compassion and care deeply about the well-being of others and I want to do everything I can to be a part of the mission of recovery. Addiction can destroy lives and families, and I strive to share that there is hope and a future through recovery. NCVRC offers hope and pathways to a better future for our region,” says Tess of her reasons for joining the NCVRC team.

The North Central Vermont Recovery Center is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and substance-free environment for individuals and families on their paths to lasting recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. NCVRC is celebrating its 10th year providing hope in the Lamoille Valley. You can learn more at www.ncvrc.com.
