Norwich University officials announced the appointment of Martin Hanifin ’86 as vice president of finance and chief financial officer effective early March 2021. Hanifin was raised in Vermont and served on the Norwich University Board of Fellows from 2011 until 2017. He graduated summa cum laude from Norwich University in May 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts in government.

Attorney Patrick Winburn has again been awarded Martindale-Hubbell’s highest legal rating (Av) for 2021. Martindale-Hubbell is the oldest attorney ranking/listing group for lawyers. The requirements are stringent, anonymous and rate lawyers from Av to Cv (or no ranking at all). An Av rating means that that lawyer is considered “preeminent” and is the top rating.

Norwich University’s Peace and War Center welcomes Dr. Grazia (Grace) Scoppio as a Fulbright Canada Research Chair in Peace and War Studies for the spring 2021 semester.
