Cara Collins has joined Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs as an Associate Accountant. Cara is a graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing her CPA. Her prior experience includes public accounting as well as professional support for the Women Business Network throughout Vermont.

Directors of the Southern Vermont Health Services Corporation (SVHSC) and Brattleboro Memorial Hospital recently welcomed Deborah Boyle to serve on the board. Boyle grew up in Brattleboro and was actually born at BMH.

James Mount, Chief Operating Officer of Mount Family Group Ltd has named

Alison Davis as the manager of the company’s Westaff branch in

Burlington.

Davis, who lives in Burlington, is a graduate of Keene State College in

Keene, NH and has been an employee of the Westaff branch in Burlington

Ruth Dinerman has joined the staff at Yestermorrow Design/Build School

in Warren, VT as the organization’s first Development Director. Ruth

holds a BA from Oberlin College and an MFA in fiction from Brooklyn

College, City University of New York. She comes to Yestermorrow by a

circuitous route that’s taken her to various places in the Midwest, New

received a message that the State Board of Nursing was on the phone. On her

way to the phone she couldn’t help wondering what she had done. As it turns

out, the caller was from the New Hampshire Nursing Association announcing

professor emerita of pathology, received the 2010 Graduate Alumni Award

during the Graduate Student Research Day held October 14 at the College of

Medicine. The award recognizes alumni from the College's Ph.D. or M.S.

programs who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in basic, clinical or

John King, president and CEO of Vermont Public Television, has been elected

to serve a three-year term on the PBS Board of Directors. He has also been

elected chair of the Organization of State Broadcasting Executives (OSBE),

which is the affinity group representing the nation’s statewide public

broadcasters.

Neal Robinson, formerly of Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO), has been

named vice president for finance for Saint Michael’s College; SMC President

John J. Neuhauser announced October 13. Mr. Robinson started at the liberal

arts Catholic college on Monday, October 18.
