Lyndon State College sent a record high twelve students and two faculty members to Seattle, Washington, from January 22 to 27 for the 91st Annual American Meteorological Society (AMS) meeting. Judy Tarr announced that Dale Scantlebury, RN has been hired as the new nurse manager of the medical surgical unit at Central Vermont Medical Center, 2 North and 2 South. Dale clearly has the clinical and managerial experience to take over this very busy unit,” noted CVMC president and CEO Judy Tarr.

Margaret Martin Barry has been appointed as acting associate dean for Clinical and Experiential Programs and visiting professor of law for the 2011-2012 academic year at Vermont Law School. Barry, who is currently a professor at the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, will join VLS on July 1.
