Saint Michael’s College office of the vice president for academic affairs announced promotions and tenure decisions of college faculty effective for the fall 2011 semester.

Faculty promoted to full professor

The Fletcher Allen Health Care Board of Trustees accepted the appointment of Timothy C. Davis to the board at its June 14th meeting. He will complete the term of Geoffrey Shields, dean of Vermont Law School, who resigned earlier this year. That term ends in December 2012. Davis will then be eligible to serve his first four-year term, pending board approval.

Kelliher Samets Volk (KSV), a marketing communications firm with offices in Burlington, Vt., Boston and New York, has named Janine Allo, a seasoned communications executive, to lead the growing agency. Allo will be based at KSV’s Burlington office.
