RABA Gives out Entrepreneur/Trade Scholarships to MMU Seniors

Richmond Area Business Association gave out two $1500

Entrepreneur/ Trade Scholarships recently to MMU

graduates, Cody Vernet, son of Paul & Heather Parker of

Richmond, and Marissa Giroux, daughter of Jim & Cori

Giroux of Richmond.

Cody, who grew up working at his Dad’s weekly car auction

and more recently at Pizza Putt, is attending the University

of Vermont this fall. His ultimate goal is to become an

automobile designer. Marissa plans to major in marine

sciences at the University of Maine at Orono. She works at

Estey Hardware and Lantmans in Hinesburg and volunteers

at the Echo Center in Burlington. Both students were active

in their communities and their school during the last four

years.
