Amity Baker named audit partner at JMM & Associates

JMM & Associates, one of the largest independent CPA firms in Vermont, has promoted Accounting Manager Amity Baker to audit partner. Baker, whose area of focus is working with nonprofit organizations, has been with the firm since 2014.

Baker is a magna cum laude graduate of Mount Holyoke College in Hadley, Massachusetts. Outside of work, she is director of the community chorus at the Community College of Vermont and serves as treasurer of the Janet S. Munt Family Room Board of Directors.

SilverLake Wealth appoints Gregory Steele as vice president

Gregory Steele, former managing director at JVB Financial Holdings in New York City, has joined the Williston-based financial services firm SilverLake Wealth Management as vice president.

Steele brings to SilverLake more than 30 years of experience managing high-yield credit risk for various Wall Street investment banks. His deep understanding of the credit markets will be beneficial to the company's risk-management strategies and vital to enhancing its wealth-management and financial-planning services.

Sandra McGuire takes helm at Howard Center

Howard Center, Vermont’s largest provider of mental health, substance use and developmental supports and services, has promoted Chief Financial and Operations Officer Sandra McGuire to CEO. She succeeds Bob Bick, who retired in May.

Bailey promoted to regional managing principal at OneDigital

OneDigital, a leading insurance brokerage, financial services and HR consulting firm, has promoted Emily Bailey from Connecticut managing principal to regional managing principal for the Northeast region.

Bailey brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role and will oversee the continued growth of the region, encompassing New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont. She is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University.
