The Fletcher Allen Foundation announced the appointment of six new directors to its board, effective September 1. Each director will serve a three year term. The Foundation guides Fletcher Allen’s philanthropic efforts. The new directors are:

JobsInTheUS.com, an operator of multi-state job boards in New England, recently promoted Thomas Hinman to the position of Director, Sales & Marketing. Hinman will play a key role in expanding the company’s brand into a full service Employment Resource.

JobsInTheUS.com also recently promoted Jeremy Haskell to the position of Senior Sales Manager. Haskell also works with business development and partnership building for the company.

Dr John Bramley, President of the Windham Foundation, announced today the hire of David Rachlin as President and CEO of the Grafton Village Cheese Company. Rachlin, a dairy and cheese industry veteran, will commence his appointment at Grafton Village Cheese on September 1.

Carrie Pratt of Essex Junction has been named admission counselor at Saint Michael’s College, starting this week. Ms. Pratt is a 2009 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Saint Michael’s with a degree in English literature magna cum laude. She will represent the college to future students, their families, secondary school professionals and others. She will plan and implement a multi-state recruitment agenda and will assess applicants for enrollment at Saint Michael’s.

Darn Tough Vermont, manufacturer of premium all-weather performance socks, has named Shannon McKenna Director of Government Sales. McKenna’s hire will grow the company’s focus on, and commitment to, outfitting the U.S. Military with its premium, made-in-Vermont tactical socks.

Mary K. Crowley of Reading, Vt., has joined Citizens Bank as a Mortgage Loan Officer. She works out of the Citizens branch in Woodstock.Crowley originates a wide range of home financing programs, including both conventional and government loans.
