Mater Christi School recently reorganized its Advancement Department, separating Development and Marketing. Mrs. Jennifer Behr, who was Mater Christi’s Director of Advancement, is now their Director of Marketing and Communications. A new Director of Development, Mrs. Sarah Lavoie, has been hired by the school and will work closely with Mrs. Behr.

Saint Michael's College senior business students Denise Belanger of Rumford, Maine, and Benjamin Hodges of Salisbury, N.H., won the Business Ethics Case Competition held March 2, on the Saint Michael’s campus. The winning case study was titled “Bunny Butcher: PETA Protests Donna Karan New York.” The winning team split the grand prize of $1,000, as well as $150 for being first-round winners.

The City of Burlington announced today that long-time co-director of the Fletcher Free Library, Amber Collins, will be retiring as of June 30, the end of her current term of appointment. Ms. Collins has served as a co-director since 1992, when the library co-director positions were created, and served as Assistant Director since 1997. Her fellow co-directors are Robert Resnik and Robert Coleburn. Ms. Collins’ position of Assistant Director is the sole exempt position at the library, overseeing building and grounds, finance, and personnel.

Cindy Martindill’s dissertation research on teaching nursing students through interactive television (ITV) will be featured in the 33rd annual “Caring Connections: Research, Practice, Education” conference, sponsored by the International Association for Human Caring.
