The Brattleboro Retreat is pleased to announce the appointment of Konstantin von Krusenstiern as Vice President of Strategy and Development. Von Krusenstiern has served as Senior Director of Development since joining the hospital in December, 2008.

Dawn McGinnis has joined NPI, a secure managed IT services provider, as the Outside Sales Coordinator. Her duties will include new business development, sales support and website content management. Her previous work experience is in sales and customer service. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Mass Communications. Dawn resides in Essex Junction Vermont.

Luke Mayville has joined NPI, a secure managed IT services provider, as a Service Coordinator. His primary duties are product ordering and scheduling. Before coming to NPI he was employed by People’s United Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in Political Science and International Studies. Luke resides in Essex, Vermont.

Three University of Vermont students and two recent alumni have been awarded Fulbright U.S. Student Program Scholarships. The prestigious awards are fully funded, year-long fellowships which enable seniors, recent graduates and graduate students who have an outstanding academic record to live abroad and conduct research or teach English as part of an intellectual and cultural exchange.

The nonprofit Windham Foundation, parent company of the historic Grafton Inn, announced the appointment of Donald Bruce as Innkeeper, who started his position on May 6. A native Vermonter with hometown roots just 15 miles from Grafton and nearly 30 years in hospitality, Bruce will oversee all management, operations, sales and marketing of the inn.
