VPR classical morning host Kari Anderson named network’s managing producer
Vermont Public Radio has announced that VPR Classical Host and Producer Kari Anderson has been named the 24-hour music network’s first Managing Producer.
Anderson has been VPR Classical’s morning host since 2012. In her new role, she’ll lead the station’s staff and work with them to unify vision, content, and community engagement.
“It's an honor to be named VPR Classical's Managing Producer,” Anderson said. “We are lucky to have such a rich and eclectic music scene. I look forward to making VPR Classical an even more integral part of the community.”
Maddalena Michetti joins Lang McLaughry Real Estate's St. Albans sales team

Vermont Arts Council board of trustees elects new officers at its annual meeting
On Wednesday, June 4, the Vermont Arts Council Board of Trustees elected new officers for FY2015 at the organization’s annual meeting. Irwin Gelber, of West Barnet, was elected chairman. Mr. Gelber replaces Barbara Morrow, of Sutton, who completed her term on the board.
