Director of captive insurance team is firm’s first female leader & 5th president in firm’s history

Stephanie Mapes, PF+C’s Captive Insurance Team leader, was elected in June as President of the firm. Mapes has worked at PF+C for 26 years and has helped lead the firm for the past two years as one of three members of the board’s executive committee. Mapes is the first female president in PF+C’s 46-year history.

Lynn Smith receives ACHCA's Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award

The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) honored Lynn Smith, Administrator of THE MANOR, INC in MORRISVILLE, VT with the 2014 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award. The leadership award was celebrated during the awards luncheon at ACHCA's 48th Annual Convocation and Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, April 6, 2014. Two hundred and seventy six administrators were awarded leadership awards nationally, 42 of which were at the awards luncheon.

Rich Hornby promoted to top operations role at Mack

Rich Hornby will combine the logistical skills he learned as a military officer with his medical sales/engineering background in his new role as plant manager of Mack Molding’s headquarters plant in Arlington, Vt., it was announced today by Jeff Somple, president, Northern Division. Formerly a program manager in the orthopedics and disposable medical devices business unit at Mack, he originally joined the company in 2011.

Winston Prouty Center welcomes Shawna Parker to its board

The Winston Prouty Center recently welcomed Shawna Parker to its Board of Trustees. Parker is a longtime Brattleboro area resident. She is currently the Director of Marketing at World Learning in Brattleboro and Washington D.C., where she has been for the past five years. Shawna brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing and public relations, including local outreach for a variety of causes, events and organizations.
