National leader in health care analytics joins Dartmouth-Hitchcock

Robert A. Greene, MD, MHCDS, FACP, a national leader in health care analytics and new payment models, has joined the Dartmouth-Hitchcock team as executive vice president and chief population management officer.

Dr. Greene will have accountability and oversight for one of the three pillars of Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s sustainable health system: improving population health.

Goddard College appoints five new trustees

Goddard College has announced the addition of five new members of the board: Lucinda Garthwaite, Caleb Pitkin, Richard Schramm, Goddard student Kelly Bowen, and faculty member Nicola Morris.

"We are building a board of trustees that can guide Goddard through ever-changing times while maintaining its commitment to progressive education and to helping students make our world a better place,” said Board Chair Avram Patt.

Vermont Truffle Company opens in Rutland

The ribbon is cut at the Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony at Vermont Truffle Company which is now located at 37 Center St in Downtown Rutland. Vermont Truffle Company has purchased the building and will be manufacturing out of this downtown Rutland location, as well selling their products on site. The Vermont Truffle Company specializes in creating handcrafted chocolate truffles utilizing all natural, local ingredients.

VSA recognized with two awards

VSA Vermont has announced that at the 2014 VSA Affiliate Council Meeting in Washington, D.C., on July 22nd, VSA Vermont was recognized with two awards. Program Director Peggy Rainville received the VSA Affiliate Council 2014 Award for Dedication to Service, honoring her for 14 years of passionate work with VSA Vermont. We are delighted that Peggy was recognized for her amazing work by her colleagues across the country.

Riverrun has its groundbreaking

The partnership of Nedde Real Estate, Redstone and Youkel Architecture + Development has announced the groundbreaking of Riverrun luxury apartments located right on the Winooski River in downtown Winooski.
