People Making Good PR has announced the addition of two new associates in its Boston, Mass., office: Claire Storrs and Michelle Juralewicz.
Claire Storrs joins People Making Good PR as an Account Supervisor. Storrs will manage a team of publicists and work with clients on communications strategy and concepts.
James Stewart joins VPR Classical
James Stewart has joined VPR Classical as its local weekday afternoon host, Vermont Public Radio announced this week. His program can be heard on Monday through Friday from 4-7 p.m.
James recently finished his Doctorate of Musical Arts in music composition from The Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford in Connecticut.

Jacki Murphy of Saint Michael's honored as leader in admissions field for Vermont
Jacqueline “Jacki” Murphy, longtime director of admission for undergraduate programs at Saint Michael’s College, is the winner of the Consortium of Vermont College’s Jerry E. Flanagan Service Award for 2014.
Carrie Williams Howe, interim executive director of the Vermont Higher Education Council, said Murphy was nominated by her peers in the Consortium and received the award at an early-January conference of the group in Johnson.
Nolan Atkins named Lyndon State’s interim dean of academics
Lyndon State College President Joe Bertolino has announced the appointment of LSC Professor of Atmospheric Sciences Nolan Atkins to the position of Interim Dean of Academic Affairs. Atkins began the position on January 19, 2015; he will serve for 18 months. He takes over from Kellie Bean who stepped down as Provost/Dean of Academic Affairs in December, 2014.

Governor Douglas selected to participate in national Commission on Entrepreneurship to create middle-class jobs
The University of Virginia's Miller Center released a report on Wednesday proposing five innovative, nonpartisan and actionable ideas to help create middle-class jobs by maximizing the resources available to entrepreneurs. The report is the work of the Miller Center's Milstein Symposium Commission on Entrepreneurship and Middle-Class Jobs, led by Steve Case, co-founder of AOL and chairman and CEO of Revolution, and Carly Fiorina, former chairman and CEO of Hewlett-Packard.
