Rutland Regional names new vice president of human resources

Rutland Regional Medical Center has named Brian Kerns as its new vice president of Human Resources. Kerns replaces Allison Wollen, who accepted a position as vice president of Human Resources with Loretto Management in Syracuse, NY.

Kerns, a Rutland native, has more than 20 years of experience in human resources and was most recently the director of Human Resources at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Prior to that, Kerns worked for Office Depot in Delray Beach, Florida.

The Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center (VMEC) has announced the results of its annual election of VMEC Advisory Board members held on December 8. The following Board members were re-elected to additional two-year terms: Dave Blittersdorf, President & CEO of All Earth Renewables, Inc. (Williston); Tommy Harmon, President of Sonnax Industries (Bellows Falls); Joe Perrotto, President & CEO of Country Home Products (Vergennes); Mike Rainville, President of Maple Landmark, Inc. (Middlebury) and Brenan Riehl, President & CEO of GW Plastics (Bethel).

Jennifer Robertson joins Universal Properties Network (UPN) as director of lead generation

Jennifer Robertson has joined Universal Properties Network (UPN) as Director of Lead Generation. UPN is a real estate company that provides agents with administrative support, lead generation, marketing, coaching, and training around the country. UPN currently has teams in Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Florida, and Minnesota, and is continuing to expand. UPN, headquartered in Colchester, VT, is a division of Hergenrother Enterprises.

Nedde Real Estate Brokers lease of Black Bear Inn

Nedde Real Estate has leased the former Black Bear Inn to David and Krysta Mihaljevich. The new tenants will be operating under the name Lotus Lodge Inn, which opened in October 2015 and will be run as an Inn, Spa, Cafe and wellness center offering yoga classes, events workshops and retreats. The Lotus Lodge Inn offers slopeside accommodations at Bolton Valley Resort.

TPW announces recent company news

TPW welcomes Alison Cummings as the new managing broker of TPW Real Estate in the Stratton area. Prior to joining the real estate industry in 2006, Alison spent 30 years as a ski coach and program director at Stratton. She owned and operated her own landscape company in the Manchester/Dorset, Vermont area in the off-season. With time spent in both of those professions, she knows the area inside and out.

“I’m thrilled to be joining TPW and am looking forward to working in the Stratton region – it feels like a coming home of sorts,” Alison mentioned earlier this week.

Vermont Public Radio is teaming with 105.9FM The Radiator to bring full versions of the VPR-produced concert series ‘Live From The Fort’ to Chittenden County airwaves. The “Live From The Fort” music video series hosts Vermont-based bands in VPR’s Colchester studios. Performances are featured online at VPR.net and on VPR’s daily public affairs program Vermont Edition. VPR will provide full-length Live From The Fort performance recordings to 105.9FM The Radiator for broadcastto its Chittenden County audience.
