Jeff Schulman '89, a member of the University of Vermont athletic department's central administration for more than two decades and a former Catamount student-athlete, has been named the University's next Director of Athletics. University President Tom Sullivan made the announcement on Wednesday afternoon at Patrick Gym.

Margery McCracken, CPA has joined Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs as an Accountant. Margery graduated from George Washington University with a Master of Accounting degree and from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies.

Seven UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center volunteers were awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award gold medal at this year’s annual volunteer recognition luncheon. This prestigious award confers national recognition to those who volunteer 500 or more hours in a year, and celebrates the positive impact that individuals make by serving their communities.

David Raphael, Broker and Realtor® with Artisan Realty of Vermont, has been reappointed by Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin to serve a five year term as a Broker member of the Vermont Real Estate Commission. The Real Estate Commission is a seven-member Board created by the Legislature whose members are appointed by the Governor to administer the laws for this profession in the State of Vermont. The Board's mission is public protection. Raphael has over fourteen years of real estate experience as a Broker and Realtor® in Vermont.
