Governor Scott appoints two new Fish & Wildlife Board Members
Governor Phil Scott has appointed two new members to the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Board from Rutland and Orleans counties. Brian Wiles has been appointed from Rutland County to replace Justin Lindholm, and David Robillard has been appointed from Orleans County to replace Grant Spates. The fourteen-member Fish and Wildlife Board is a group of Vermont citizens that enact fish and wildlife regulations for hunting, fishing, and trapping. Members serve six-year terms.

Over 270 guests joined KidSafe Collaborative on April 18 to applaud outstanding individuals and partnerships working on the “front lines” of child protection in Chittenden County at KidSafe’s Annual Outstanding Service Awards Luncheon at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center. The yearly luncheon recognizes members of the community working to support families and protect children from maltreatment. Former DCF Commissioner Steve Dale was Master of Ceremonies.
VLT announces transition of president, honors contributions
Gil Livingston, president of the Vermont Land Trust (VLT) for the past 10 years, will be leaving the organization at the end of 2017 to continue meaningful, focused work in the national conservation arena. Gil has been with the land trust for 26 years; in that time he has contributed greatly to the conservation of farmland, forests, and land important for recreation and community.
Mulcahy receives ACHE Regent’s Early Career Healthcare Executive Award
